Ph.D.  AOYUE BI (毕傲月)

My interests lie in the intersection of population genetics, quantitative genetics, and computational biology, with a focus on leveraging large-scale genomic data to unravel the genetic control underlying crop traits. Currently, my work involves constructing an evolutionary constraint database in the wheat genome, which enables the prioritization of functional variants. Additionally, I am deciphering the impact of demographic history on mutation burden of the wheat genome, aiming to identify genetic targets that can inform digital breeding strategies for wheat.
